Theater poster design is a true pleasure for most designers. It was for us as well, when we designed the posters (and other publications) for the Slovene Public Theater Celje for three whole seasons. It was an especially interesting task to catch the spirit of the text and the current staging. The former is naturally not a problem to read. But the latter was more difficult, as only the preliminary rehearsals were taking place during poster design. So we had to make due with interviews with individual directors. And in the end, with our imagination.
