When Slovene Popular Theater Celje decided to stage “Maček Muri” (Muri the Cat), we encountered a problem. Namely, a popular “Maček Muri” picture book has already been illustrated by two well-known illustrators, Jelka Reichman and Maša Kozjek. The children know the main cat character only from their illustrations. Since there was no need to draw him for the third time; we decided to create a detailed »panoramic map« of the famous “Mačje mesto” city, incorporating most of its sights.
